Shutterfly free shipping! Sweet Photo Book

My friend Jill made a photo book from Shutterfly, and I absolutely could not believe how awesome it turned out. Her boyfriend, Greg, has 2 awesome kids, and it was all about the excellent summer they had. I was totally impressed by Shutterfly, and am going to order a few for holiday gifts! Since she signed up as a new member, she gets to order a collage poster she is going to use in her classroom. Most excellent! I also saw one of their calendars, and that was awesome, too. Check it out!

Go Julie Go!!!

Hey Everyone! Oh such a long time since we've chatted. Been so busy! Went to a crystal and gem show a few weeks ago. That was fun. Got my EIN number from the IRS, but now need my MN number and to file my articles of incorporation. I'm getting there slowly but surely!
The above picture is of the little princess and Auntie Julie right before Julie ran in her 1st half marathon. It was for Earth Day up at SCSU. Julie finished in 2 hours - she rocks. We are all so proud of her - and I hope she knows that by the amount of support that was there for her! We love you sister! GOOD JOB!!!
BZZ Agent...have you ever heard of a bzz agent? Well, Julie and I are bzz agents and get great stuff to try out (for free) and just tell our friends about it, get their honest opinion and post it on the web site. Really, not much time is needed. We have gotten some awesome stuff. This is one of the web sites that I have looked at recently (thanks Julie) and totally LOL!!! http://www.bzzagent.com//p/9481916385/snix1968

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hey Everyone!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Green Beer - gross! Only in college did I drink that, I don't remember if that turned out so wonderful...

Things around our house have been pretty "crappy", literally.
Princess has been ill since the 7th.
Started with a fever over @ Big Daddy's house - continued with a fever when she got home until the 12th...then the "shit hit the fan", literally. She's had the poops since the 12th, so Big Daddy and I took her to the Dr. today, and we have begun the process of "stool sampling". If you are a lab tech - I admire you and what you do for a living - no thanks. Hey Julie - don't you get to do something like that when you move into your new profession? Good times! We got the 1st 2 out of the way. So, hopefully I will get them to the lab on Wed night before 8 so we can find out what's up.

In the mean time...that's all I know. Looking forward to Spring on Thursday!

Happy Easter! xoxo Janelle

Tips for a Better Life

TIPS FOR A BETTER LIFE

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.

2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock if you have to. (escape to your car if need be)

3. Buy a DVR and tape your late night shows and get more sleep.

4. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, 'My purpose is to __________ today.'

5. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.

6. Read more books than you did in 2007 (even if that # is 1)

7. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, tai chi, or prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.

8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.

9. Dream more while you are awake.

10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

11. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts.

12. Try to make at least three people smile each day. Smiling is contagious.

13. Clear clutter from your house, your car, your desk to let new flowing energy into your life.

14. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

15. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

16. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.

17. Smile and laugh more.

18. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

20. Don't take yourself so seriously.

21. You don't have to win every argument. Or have the last word. Agree to disagree.

22. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.

23. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about or how they got there.

24. No one is in charge of your happiness except you. Believe in yourself that you can make it come true.

25. Frame every so-called "disaster" with these words: 'In five years, will this matter?'

26. Forgive everyone for everything.

27. What other people think of you is none of your business.

28. Almost every wound heals if you let it.

29. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

30. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends & family will. Stay in touch.

31. Invite people or things into your life that are useful, beautiful or joyful.

32. Envy is a waste of time.

33. The best is yet to come.

34. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

35. Do the right thing!

36. Call your family often. (Or email them to death!!!) "Hey I'm thinking of ya!"

37. Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: I am thankful for __________. Today I accomplished _________.

38. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.

39. Enjoy the ride. Remember this is not Disneyland and you certainly don't want a fast pass. You only have one ride through life so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.

40. Remember you have one person that cares for you in life..... or you wouldn't be getting this email! :o)

May your troubles be less, May your blessings be more, May nothing but happiness come through your door!

Hey Julie, I'm back!!!!

What up peeps?

I crack myself up!

Been awhile since I've written. Since we've last talked I have:

been to a rock and gem show, looked into some more product, found 2 more places to consign (with awesome people I may add!), listened to a bunch of pod casts about lots of things I am interested in, worked a lot, had great conferences at school for the little princess, went to the AT meeting in St. Cloud today - good to see everyone after a few months (Hey Erin - what up?)!

So, Friday I am taking my mom to Sister Kenny to get the results of her neuro-psych evaluation from last month, should be interesting. Then, Friday night I am hoping to attend a meeting of the Anoka County Gem and Mineral Club. They hold their meetings on Friday nights, now if I can find the exact location on the piece of paper I had it on, we would be good to go for sure!!!

So, that is about it. Lots more going on but not enough time to tell it all today. Everyone have a spectacular day! Talk soon.

Love and gratitude,

Janelle

Working on my day off...

Today was a great day! Our friend Melissa had us over so we could enjoy some awesome food, and the kids could play together. I was also able to bring my laptop and do a bit of work on my web page. Check it out if you would like (click on link below). Feedback is always appreciated. Julie, you may need to do a bit of editing as I can not figure out where the spell check is on there!

Sunday, Big Daddy left for an adventure, so the Little Princess and I went over to our friend Andrea's house. The kids were able to play. We checked out some new music and looked through a few books to come up with a list of ideas for healing crystal sets. It was a lot of fun for me, thanks Andrea. If anyone comes up with some ideas for other sets that are not listed on my Blue Water Vision web site (bluewatervision.googlepages.com), e mail me and let me know. The grand vision is to begin selling these sets and individual stones and crystals. I am taking my time and enjoying my new venture. I am learning a lot and am making sound and solid decisions along the way, and that takes time.

YUMMY! My mom brought me some French Onion Soup she made from scratch today. I am going to go eat it now - piping hot! I am super psyched!

By the way - what do you think of the picture at the top of the page? I think I could maybe crop this and make it part of my "logo". I took this picture at the Como Zoo this summer. I have a few other pictures that I will put up later and you will have to let me know what you think.

With love and gratitude,

Janelle

We will be accepting orders until Thursday, February 28th so I can get everything to Jean by Friday the 29th. Jean Hanson is our lia sophia Independent Consultant out of Delano, MN. You can check out www.liasophia.com for more information about their jewelry. Julie is running a half marathon soon, and I bought her an angel necklace, cuz she loves angels, to watch over her during her run. I brought my crystal and gemstone books to the fiesta and there could be some awesome business ventures in the future for Jean and me! Look out craft fairs, etc...here we come!!! {Look out Jean, you don't know what you've gotten yourself in to :) } And of course Andrea - you should have some info ready so that can be on the table, too!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hello Everyone,

Happy Valentine's Day. My Valentine is pictured above, a few years ago but these are some of my favorite pictures of her. Her and Big Daddy sent me a dozen red roses today. They are pretty and smell great! Love is in the air...

About the crystal/gem Rose Quartz -
Self Love and Acceptance - Pink quartz (rose quartz) allows you to be in touch with your basic self. It will allow you to get to know your true self and to love that true self in all its beauty. It can also allow you to communicate internally with your spirit guides, which means you may or may not be aware of them but they are teaching you all the same.
Rose Quartz is a good stone for someone who has trouble loving themselves or accepting love from another because they do not believe that they are worthy of being loved. It loves soft running river water to clean and recharge and moonlight. Big Daddy is carrying a Rose Quartz sphere in his pocket right now that I gave him last week. Some people say don't share your crystals or gems. I believe that if you have the right intention, no harm and it could bring inspiration and healing to those who need it. What a great crystal for Valentine's Day and everyday for love!

Happy Valentine's to all.

With love and gratitude, Janelle

The weekend...

Last night we went to a benefit for a wonderful woman named Lee. I have known her and her family forever as we grew up in the same town. Her benefit was to cover costs as she has been treating and healing her body to be rid of breast cancer. She looked absolutely awesome - I liked her wig - as she said her "synthetic" hair, it was cute and looked great on her. Smiles all night. A big thanks to the people who put it on. Prayers and positive healing thoughts to Lee! The benefit was held a Huikko's Bowling Alley in Buffalo, MN - check it out if you are ever there. Really nice place - good food, good bowling overall good family fun! http://www.huikkosbowl.com/ We went to see Clifford the Big Red Dog this morning - good times for sure! Had lunch with our family and my mom and dad. We are now waiting "patiently" for little ladies friend to come over and spend the night..."Mom, when is she going to be here????" I picked up a free book today with poems in it. One World, One Heart, by Susan Polis Schutz, Designed and Illustrated by Stephen Schutz. Blue Mountain Press, Boulder, Colorado. www.sps.com This book promotes understanding, peace, and tolerance for all people. Here is one poem...
"Love Is the Soul of Hearts"
Love is
the meaning of poetry
the inspiration of dreams
the passion of dance
the music of songs
Love is
the spirit of souls
the emotion of hearts
Love is
the poetry of dreams
the dance of songs
and the
sould of hearts

TGIF!!!

Hello and greetings from the soon to be frigid West Metro! Been an interesting week at work. Got a lot done at my "regular" job, and been doing much more research and getting wholesale lists from businesses for Blue Water Vision. I received my "approved" assumed name from the Secretary of State in MN, now I need to put my ad in the paper, then after I get my paper saying it was in there for 2 weeks, I can send in my articles of incorporation, then I get get my tax numbers!!! I am waiting patiently, because I know that the universe does not need me to get overloaded. As promised, here are the books I bought from Barnes and Noble:
  • The Crystal Bible, A Definitive Guide to Crystals, by Judy Hall
  • Chakra Clearing, Awakening Your Spiritual Power to Know and Heal, by Doreen Virute, Ph.D (includes a CHAKRA CLEARING CD!
  • Crystal Energy For Your Home, Creating Harmony in Every Room, by Ken and Joules Taylor
  • Love Crystals, Energize Your Love Life with the Power of Crystals, by Judy Hall
  • The Fortune Tellers Bible, The Definitive Guide to the Arts of Divination, by Jane Struthers
  • Tarot Deck and Book Set for Dummies - labeled as "The must-have tarot deck and book set for beginners!"
  • The Encyclopedia of Crystals, by Judy Hall

I am super excitied to start diving in! I have shared a few of the books with my friends. Talk to you all soon. With gratitude and love - Janelle

It's a new day!

Well, Tuesday is my Monday at work this week. I took my mom to the U of MN for her follow up visit after recovering from Viral Brainstem Encephalitis. The Dr. that saw her remembered her from when she was presented as "Patient of the week" in September. He was happy to see her and remarked at what a wonderful recovery she has had. He looked back at all the tests and they came back negative, so they never really figured out what virus it was. The only thing that matters is that she is healty and happy! Yeah! Sunday, I was able to go to Barnes and Noble, solo, and look at books. I got a bunch. Will list them later. It has been fun looking through them quickly to get a preview. Can't wait until I have time to really dive in and check them out! Have a spectacular week! Today's affirmation: I am a worthwhile individual. I am valuable and important exactly the way I am. With love and gratitude! Janelle

What to do?

Well, I am going to go to Barnes and Noble today to buy some books on healing and crystals. I think this is going to be a big part of my future. I am really interested in getting the book about how crystals can interact with your pets. My wonderful mother gave me her gift certificate with a lovely balance on it to use. She is a God send for sure! I have started an ebay account and the name is bluewatervision. I'm thinking I would like to sell different kinds of metaphysical items on ebay and maybe even Amazon. Still need to do a bit more research. I have been looking at the healing crystal listings, and purchased some from a woman who actually lives in MN - cool! Can't wait to get them. I also found a metaphysical shop on Lyndale Ave in Mpls. Am going to make it a point to get down there. May your day be filled with love and abundance! I am grateful for the wonderful day! Janelle

Greetings!

Greetings from Blue Water Vision! I am extremely thankful to have the opportunity to share positive thoughts and energy with all of you. I am grateful for the experience I am about to create for myself, family, friends and YOU! Life is a series of experiences and lessons; some of which have been celebratory and others that have not. We are learning from our universe every day, and for that I am thankful and grateful. We live in a world of abundance, and I have learned to accept and appreciate the daily abundance that I have come to realize has been there forever! This is why I have decided to embark on a new venture. The metaphysical world has been intriguing to me since I was in my teens. I have been interested in Astrology, Numerology, Tarot, Palm Reading, Angels, all types of religions, Psychic Intuition, and Spiritual Guidance. It is just recently that I have opened my heart and soul to the full appreciation of these wonderful gifts. With that wonderful revelation, I have come to the conclusion that I want to share this with the world. I will be updating you all in the near future. Until then, enjoy the abundance life and the world gives to all of us! Also, if you live in the Minnesota area, my wonderful and loving friend Andrea is a wonderful massage therapist. Her business is in Waverly, MN and it is called Andreas Massage. This is a wonderful experience for women only. Her web site is andreasmassage.com - Check it out. I am grateful for her positive energy and healing touch! She has been a wonderful guide and support for me and my family for many years. I have been especially grateful for her in the last few months of my personal growth and experiences. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Andrea! Love and abundance to Everyone! Janelle
